You've Found It!

My Foster Kids is a Web site I created for My Foster Kids: Jake Foster, Megan Foster, and Kolten Foster! We moved from Illinois to Texas in August of 2006. I created this site in hopes that our family and friends from Illinois could visit and keep track of how we are doing and what is happening in our lives. I try to change this site often to keep up with what we are all doing but I don't always get it done as quickly as I'd like.
We moved to Texas so that my husband, Brain could work as a Hunting Guide and Professional Trapper. Bowhunters Unlimited Outfitters is the name of his outfitter business. This site is used to post pictures of hunters and their trophies, as well as pricing and the animals Bowhunters Unlimited has to offer. This site also provides links to the various ranches that Brian manages.
Cactus Creek Bowhunting, owned by Bob Skelton, is one of the hunting ranches that Brian manages. Cactus Creek is a trophy ranch and is located just outside of Nixon, TX, about an hour from San Antonio. Hunts start out at $100 a day, two day minimum and this allows you to take two hogs. If you see a trophy animal that you want you can think shoot that animal, and pay a kill fee. If you do not kill the trophy animal you pay only for the hog hunt. Cactus Creek has a bunkhouse that sleeps six, a walk-in cooler on site, and a lighted skinning area.
The Wagon Rod Ranch is another ranch that Brian manages. The Wagon Rod Ranch features package hunts starting at $225. These hunts are two to four day hunts and allow you to take various animals, depending on the hunt you purchase. There are various Exotics on this ranch, as well as hogs and whitetail deer. The Wagon Rod is 640 acres and is located 30 miles south of San Antonio near Floresville, Texas. The ranch has a bunkhouse that sleeps 8, a cooler, a lighted skinning area, a lodge, and a BBQ pit; wood is also available.
Cactus Creek Trapping is another business operated by my husband, Brain, and our friend, Bob Skelton. This site shows pictures of different animals that the two have trapped or darted and contains contact information for ranchers needing to liquidate or clear off their land and for buyers looking for animals. This site includes pictures of aoudad, black bucks, axis, fallow, and other animals they have trapped and/or darted.
Head To Tail Taxidermy is owned and operated by Joey Frerich. This site contains pictures, prices, and useful information on how to prepare your animal for different mounts.
SHINES.H.I.N.E. - Sharing His Incredible Never-ending Embrace is a ministry that seeks to encourage and equip women to overcome the obstacles in their life and shine their light for Jesus. I am happy with this Web site but it does not compare with the pride that I feel for SHINE. A non-for-profit organization, this Ministry truly is incredible. The effort put forth by this group of women is amazing. Each Fall SHINE, a non-denominational ministry, holds a women's conference, this year's will be held in Kewanee, IL. Be sure to check out the Web site for more details.
This Web site, designed for The Kyle Smith Memorial Park, is very special to me because Kyle's Park was built to honor the memory of my nephew Kyle. In 1998 at the age of three Kyle was murdered by his step-mother. On this site you can read Kyle's story and learn about the park, it's goal - To Create Child Abuse Awareness, learn about the park fund raisers and you will also find links to some other potentially helpful sites. It has been seven years since the death of this remarkable child and designing this Web site has actually helped me start the healing process.

Sammy and Company is a Web site that I created for my mom Susan Smith. Sue does a Christian puppet show. Most of her shows are done at the Bradford First Baptist Church, but she also takes her show on the road doing such things as Gospel Fests and Benefits. Sue is very clever writes most of her skits herself! This site is still in the construction stage, Sue has given me a lot of great skits that I am working on adding to her web site but because this is a free site I am not having as great of luck as I would like. There is still some stuff on this site and more will be added as soon as possible.
Once upon a time I had spare time... I'm not sure where it went but I haven't found it in awhile. Maybe it has something to do with three kids, getting my college degree, working full time, moving to Texas, running several ranches, or maybe it's all of these Web sites!! Regardless, when I have free time I enjoy quilting and I have A LOT of unfinished projects laying around as well as finished pictures that I need to post to this site. I am by far NOT an expert, but if you like quilts you will probably find something on here that you like.
Around 1991, my husband Brian started his own Construction Company. I created this site for him intending to have a place to display different projects and jobs that he had done. In 2006 Brian became a professional hunter and trapper and we no longer need the construction web site, however, it is a free site and one of my firsts so I have left it up and running.
This site was also created for my husband Brian who is an avid hunter and outdoors man. Brian enjoys hunting all over the United States and Canada and has a remarkable number of kills, including boars, bears, rams, deer, turkey, and many others... all taken with a compound bow. In 2006 Brian became a PH "Professional Hunter". We moved to Texas and now he gets to hunt for a living!
